Large Squirrel Proof Suet Fat Ball Feeder & Guardian in Dark Green.

Part of a range of anti-squirrel proof feeders which also include versions for other bird foods including peanuts and seeds.  These are very sturdy and well made feeders, they are also easy to refill and clean which can be an issue with some products that use lots of clips for securing the cage.

The cage is quite heavy in itself so it simply lifts off for refilling and cleaning, no clips or clamps to get in the way, there is a guide at the top of the feeder that aligns the cage and prevents it from spinning, this is a very well made feeder and is very strong. The main feeding tube is also quite large so it will accept larger than the standard size fat balls, please see the full specification below.

It is important to note that when feeding fatballs that they should be removed from any netting which they may be supplied in, this prevents the birds potentially becoming entangled in the netting, so always use a dedicated fatball feeder.
